Kaya noonakoort. Wandju, wandju, nidja Boorloo – Noongar Boodja. Hello and welcome to Perth, on the land of the Whadjuk Noongar people, our first astronomers, who have been studying the skies for 60,000 years.
I would particularly like to welcome our international and interstate visitors for taking time to travel to Perth, once named the ‘City of Light’ by John Glenn as he orbited Earth in 1962.
The Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference is unique. A gathering of minds from across the world seeking to benefit society through transfer of technology and knowledge between space and on-Earth industries. Technologies such as AI, automation, high-speed communications, robotics and remote operations can be used to advance our lives.
