Aatif Khan has over a decade of experience in information security and has spent most of his time in assessing security risks in secure environments. He has worked extensively on penetration testing, risk assessments, malware analysis, cyber security audits, developing cyber defence strategies, building cybersecurity roadmaps, and security operations centers for large enterprises.
He has also delivered infosec trainings to corporate, defence personnel and cyber-crime police officials. He has authored and published various white papers covering different areas of information security.
He has spoken/trained at numerous information security conferences across the EMEA region. He has been interviewed by the Associated Press, Voice of America, Hakin9, and numerous other media channels for his expertise on the emerging cybersecurity threats.
His passion and focus have been on building security teams that are able to adapt the dynamic changes within security, whilst delivering on Governance, Risk and Compliance outcome.
He is a keen supporter of a mentoring programme within the security profession, including the development of the security professionals. He is currently pursuing Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from Liverpool John Moores University and working on AI driven advanced threat detection and response with modern security analytics.
