Dr. Arsenia Chorti

Professor at Ecole nationale supérieure de l’Electronique et de ses Applications

Associate Professor at the ENSEA, Head of the Information, Communications and Imaging (ICI) Group of the ETIS Lab UMR8051, CY Cergy Paris Université, ENSEA, CNRS and a Visiting Research Fellow at Princeton and Essex Universities. Since March 2021 I am on half-year sabbatical leave (CNRS delegation) to Princeton University and TU Dresden. A few thoughts on the potential role of context aware security and the role of physical layer security in 6G from my recent talk in the Nokia Bell Labs University Day 2020.

In October 2020 I obtained my Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) awarded by CY Cergy Paris Université on “Security Protocols and Resource Allocation for Fifth Generation Networks”
Jury Composition: Prof. J-M Gorce, (INSA-Lyon, Jury President, Final Report), Prof. G. Fettweis (TU Dresden, Vodafone Chair, Reviewer Report), Prof. M. Coupechoux (Télécom ParisTech, LTCI, Reviewer Report), Prof. G. Rekaya (Télécom ParisTech, LTCI, Reviewer Report), Prof. C. Hollanti (Aalto University, Examiner), Prof. I. Andriyanova (CY Cergy Paris Université, Examiner-Referee), Prof. I. Fijalkow (ENSEA, Examiner-Guarantor)

My research spans the areas of wireless communications and the design of security schemes for 5G and 6G with a particular focus on physical layer security. The research topics I currently work on include: context aware security, wireless security, 6G and IoT, intrusion detection in IoT networks, machine learning for communications, non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), faster than Nyquist signalling.
