Working as a Senior Manager Security & Privacy of Security & Privacy Competence Center (SCC) at Singapore, Holistic Engineering & Technologies – he[a]t, Continental Automotive Singapore. Currently, she is leading three teams focusing on automotive advanced research projects, consultant projects for business units and security operations e.g., threat intelligence and incidence response. Working with different disciplines e.g., RD center, product plants, legal, governance, business development, import/export control, public strategy, under cross division, function, and business unit’s environment. Working on Strategy/Roadmap for Cybersecurity for digitalization transformation. Leading different disciplines for automotive type of approval in APAC. Advanced leading research topics are including but not limited to applied post quantum cryptography, applied lightweight cryptography, cybersecurity for artificial intelligence (adversarial model), embedded security for IoTs, data anonymization for personal privacy.

Dr. Wang is leading the regulations and standardizations of Cybersecurity in APAC (Singapore, China, Japan, Korea), deep knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434 Road Vehicles – Cybersecurity Engineering and UNECE R155/R156 based on physically participating working group meetings. She is an expert of cybersecurity industrial standards: ISO 2700x, ISO 26262, SAE J3061, EVITA and HEAVENS. She is familiar with Cybersecurity related regulations in China, e.g. China Cybersecurity Law. In addition, she is familiar with data protection and privacy regulations/standards: GDPR, ISO 29100, ISO 27701, and Asia regional regulations (Singapore PDPA and Chinese PIPL).

Dr. Wang is honored with one out of two for “Women in Cybersecurity – Country Award Singapore” and one out of Seven for “Women in Cybersecurity ASEAN”2022, “Top 30 Women in Security ASEAN 2021” 2021 (Singapore, Phillips, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand) and “Top 20 Women in Cybersecurity Singapore 2020” by Public Security Society.

With up to 19 years’ experience of various of embedded security topics, she is active in academic activities with more than 48 international top journal/conference papers, and 11 industrial patents. She serviced as the Chair of IEEE CAS chapter Singapore 2022-2023. She also served as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuit and System II and senior member of IEEE.
