Greg Alcorn – Director, Global Sales & Customer Success at Synectics

Greg is a talented Global Leader with over 15 years’ experience in the design and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, which catapult revenues and market share for leading global organisations.

From his earliest career as an Electrical Engineer of heating, ventilation and security systems, Greg demonstrated a propensity for collaborating with consumers to develop and refine products. He soon transitioned to a senior Sales and Account Management role at Siemens and secured accounts with the country’s largest hospitals and museums. This was prior to a promotion that saw him sell and oversee the company’s largest building controls contracts for major Government departments and pharmaceutical organisations.

Headhunted to Honeywell, Greg continued his exceptional sales success by securing the most high-profile and competitive deals within the industry, including contracts with large City construction firms, and prominent UK sporting stadiums and airports.

He then joined Oncam Grandeye in 2011, and was at the forefront of its exponential market and revenue growth. He established, from the ground-up, the marketing and sales strategies that would see the organisation penetrate numerous global markets, as well as launch a consumer-driven, state-of-the-art product that is transforming the security and business intelligence industry.
