Experienced C-Suite level leader with the demonstrated intellect and a perfect mix of corporate, entrepreneurial, technology skills and management/leadership expertise and experience to spearhead a diverse range of difficult and complex organisations.

Following a distinguished military career including as an Experimental Test Pilot Michael as held senior business positions as CEO of the Aerospace Group, Raytheon Australia and Smart Communication Group (ASX: SCG). Michael was also the Founder, CEO and Chairman of ASX listed Regional Express Airlines or REX (ASX:REX). Michael co-founded and was Managing Partner of boutique investment banking company Canterbury Hill Advisory (AFSL 235131) for 13 years.

Michael was the founding Director of the highly successful Australian Olympic Sailing Team before heading up the Australian Challenger for the 35th Americas Cup and Chairman of Challenger’s Committee.

Michael was the CEO of the ACT Brumbies and followed this as CEO of AWH, the worlds largest wool, cotton and specialist agribusiness logistics company.

Most recently Michael was the Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer. His portfolio at Virgin Australia included Fleet, Cost reduction, Regional Airlines and Government Affairs.
