Australia & India: Space and Technology Opportunities for Collaboration

The Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference (IPSEC) is thrilled to announce its partnership with (SIA-India) as a Knowledge Partner for the upcoming 2024 conference.

SIA-India will facilitate an Indian delegation’s visit to Perth, supported by Invest and Trade Western Australia (Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation).

Leading up to the Indian delegation’s visit, this Australia-India webinar will explore and highlight opportunities for collaboration between Australia and India across Space and Adjacent Industries.

IPSEC brings together leaders from across the Indo-Pacific to foster trade and investment opportunities in space and cross-sector technologies and innovation. Following a successful inaugural conference in 2023, IPSEC returns with a broader scope, co-located with the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF) and the Andy Thomas Space Education Forum, creating a comprehensive week of activities at the same venue.

Strengthening Australia-India Collaboration

In line with the Australian Government’s recent announcement of A$18 million (INR 98 crore) in funding for three collaborative civil-space projects under the International Space Investment India (ISI India) Programme, this partnership underscores the commitment to fostering collaboration between Australia and India in the space sector.

SIA-India is dedicated to advancing sectoral interests, accelerating industry growth, and catalysing innovation through strategic engagements with key governmental and global stakeholders. By working with policymakers, regulatory bodies, and standardization entities, SIA-India aims to create a vibrant and innovative ecosystem.
