The Amsterdam Space Symposium will not be a typical policy or B2B symposium. Instead, it will act as the glue between political and strategic discussions and practical solutions for the entire space supply chain. It provides a platform for dialogue on the role and relevance of the space domain in addressing the security, defence, and climate challenges we face.
The program will focus on two main topics: Space for Security and Defence and Space for Climate. In addition, we will highlight the importance of key enabling technologies and examine the investment climate and capital requirements essential to the continued growth of the space sector.
Our ambition is to inspire through keynotes that frame the urgency and context of the topics; to further explore opportunities and challenges through panels, masterclasses, and workshops; and ultimately to act by identifying the gaps and addressing next steps for industry and research institutes.
The symposium will bring together national and international stakeholders from both space and non-space domains. The event has already attracted strong support, with 23 sponsors confirmed—an encouraging signal of its momentum and significance. We are also proud to collaborate with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, Ministry of Defence and the Netherlands Space Office. The iconic Beurs van Berlage will provide the perfect backdrop for this event!
