WCIT has been a significant platform for the world’s information technology industry since its inception in 1978, offering opportunities to connect for global trade. IDECS is a homegrown conference by the Sarawak Government, that aims to promote financial well-being, societal equity, and ecological health. It reinforces the Sarawak Government’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the digital age, which are enabled by data and technological advancements. IDECS has grown in leaps and bounds and the 5th edition, held last year, witnessed over 2,500 participants with 40,000 online viewers. This immense collaboration is set to make this year’s edition of IDECS more exciting.
