Count down to the 16th Australian Space Forum, ICC Sydney

We speak with Acting Executive Director, Peter Nikoloff of The Andy Thomas Space Foundation with just weeks to go until the 16th Australian Space Forum, Australia’s most prominent space industry event, taking place on Wednesday 6th December 2023 at the ICC in Sydney, NSW.

This landmark event in the Australian space calendar will play host to national and international subject-matter experts, including representation the Head of the UK Space Agency, Dr Paul Bates and NASA Astronaut, Dr Shannon Walker.

These speakers alongside many other notable figures in the global space industry will participate across 6 unique sessions that will touch on critical challenges and opportunities pertinent to today’s space industry. With a focus on growing Australia’s space industry capabilities and connections, the Forum is an ideal opportunity to present Australian industry to key global partners and potential collaborators.

One major feature panel at this instalment of the Forum will touch on the exciting plans and strategies towards Australia’s successful delivery of the International Astronautical Congress in 2025.

To be hosted by the SIAA in Sydney NSW, in October 2025, this event will see Australia take the global stage to share our industry expertise and technological capabilities. Join the panel to hear from the wonderful team leading the event as well as a representative from the upcoming Milan 2024 Local Organising Committee to hear more about this instalment as well.

The Forum will also welcome space industry, government and research organisations who will join Australia’s largest space exhibition hall to showcase their organisations cutting edge technologies,
products and services.

In addition to the Australian Space Forum, the Foundation will also hold our 3rd Andy Thomas Space Foundation Networking Dinner, featuring an in conversation with NASA Astronaut Dr Shannon Walker, hosted by Dr Jill Seubert.

The ATSF Networking Dinner and Australian Space Forum is situated alongside many other space industry events taking place as part of the First Australian Space Week, making this the place to be for space in 2023!
