We speak with Professor Andrew Dempster, Director of the Australian Centre for Space Engineering Research discussing the PNT 2026 Conference – 4-6 February 2026 at Royal Randwick, Sydney.

Join PNT 2026 for three days of keynotes, technical sessions, industry exhibitions and networking, including the popular Sydney Harbour Cruise. The conference will explore the latest in GNSS resilience, sensor fusion, space-based PNT, cybersecurity threats, and emerging applications across aviation, maritime, agriculture, mining, and space.

​PNT follows the merger of the Australian Institute of Navigation (AIN) and the International Global Navigation Satellite Systems (IGNSS) Association Incorporated.

PNT2026, previously delivered under the highly regarded banner of the IGNSS Conference Series, will now be officially hosted by AIN, organised by the AIN’s new PNT Sub-Committee, led by:

  • Prof. Andrew Dempster: Vice-President of AIN & Chair of the PNT Sub-Committee
  • A/Prof. Craig Roberts: Deputy Secretary of AIN & Secretary of the PNT Sub-Committee
  • Prof. Allison Kealy: Deputy Treasurer of AIN & Treasurer of the PNT Sub-Committee
