Clay explains why 2029 is a milestone year for space—marking the 80th anniversary of the IAF, 60 years since Apollo 11, the transition to commercial space stations, and the Artemis lunar missions—and why Houston, “Space City,” is uniquely positioned to host the global space community.
The ambition is to welcome more than 13,000 delegates from 80+ countries, 5,000+ technical papers, and 20,000 public visitors to a Congress that celebrates our history while helping shape our future.
By 2029, a new generation will look again toward the moon and beyond.
