Southern Space takeaways and lead up to IAC 2025, Sydney

We speak with Lisa Vitaris, interim CEO of the Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA) and Director, IAC 2025 Sydney about preparations for the 76th International Astronautical Congress (IAC), the International Astronautical Federation (IAF)’s premier global space event, from 29 September to 3 October 2025.

The IAF is the world’s leading space advocacy body and actively encourages the development of space activities for peaceful purposes. It is also organiser of the annual International Astronautical Congress (IAC), the world’s premier global space event.

SIAA and its member companies work closely with Australian governments, international partners, academia, and industry to advance Australia’s space industry and economy. SIAA hosted the 68th International Astronautical Congress in Adelaide, Australia in 2017.
