We speak with Mangesh Pimpalkhare, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Splunk Platform at Splunk’s 16th annual user conference, .conf25, in Boston. We took the opportunity to discuss the integration of Splunk with Cisco, highlighting the expanded reach and renewed value proposition.

Cisco’s extensive networking footprint complements Splunk’s focus on infrastructure and application layers, providing full visibility across technology stacks. The integration has accelerated Splunk’s roadmap and allowed for a unified AI interface, AI Canvas, which powers Splunk’s data engine. Mangesh emphasized the importance of product adoption and customer value, ensuring synergies between Splunk and Cisco’s product lines under the leadership of Cisco President, Jeetu Patel.
