We are joined by Professor James Rabeau, Deputy Director of the Sydney Nano Institute, University of Sydney and Andrew Wilson, CEO, Senetas.

James joined the University of Sydney in January 2019 as a Professor in Physics. His career spans cutting-edge university research, tech-entrepreneurship and hardware development at Microsoft.

As Program Manager at Microsoft Quantum Computing he led projects to design and build hardware systems for quantum control and measurement. He was previously Director of Strategic Planning at Macquarie University where he designed and launched a University-wide KPI dashboard and worked with teams to help develop strategic plans. From 2012 to 2014, James was a Director at Deloitte in the Data Analytics practice working with commercial organisations to understand and leverage data-assets using predictive modelling and analytics.

Andrew is CEO of Senetas, an ASX listed company (SEN) and a leading developer of high-performance encryption security solutions. Andrew was appointed in 2012 and was previously Senetas’s CFO and Company Secretary. Throughout his career with Senetas, Mr Wilson has had a significant role in the important stages of the company’s development since it was first listed on the ASX in 1999.
